Spelling

This week my class had a spelling  test to see who would go up or down. I was scared that I would go down. After we finished out spelling test the teachers marked our work. Mrs Stewart said I did well and that made me more confident.

Next, the teacher said to come for another test. I was really nervous After we had finished that test the teacher marked our work. When the teacher told us the results I was thrilled because I had gone up to list 8.1  I was so happy.

I thought I did really well on my spelling test and the only thing I think I need to work on is placing the letters in the right place.

Animal report

Kia ora,
This week we had to make an animal report. I decided to make mine about a sheep because I wanted mine to be simple and different because no one else would want to do a sheep any way. Most people did animals such as cheetahs, elephants, tigers, zebras and much more.  Here is my presentation of what I have been working on.

Here is my basic facts progress for this year. In Term 1 I was working on Stage 5 and i got a score of 25/60. In Term 2, my basic facts score for Stage 5 was 43/60 so I am still on Stage 5. So, I need to practice mt facts every day and night as I am behind where I should be.

Getting ready for Fun Friday

Today we have been getting ready for Fun Friday. Fun Friday is when the seniors get to make activities for all the juniors. we are fundraising for the Juniors school activities.We had to find a group. I'm in a group of 9. My group members are Max,Cyrus,Alex,Luke,Jayden,Mathew,Rico,Terei,and me. Our group is doing nerf gun distance. Nerf gun distance is when you have to shoot the bullet as far as possible. If you shoot it far We give you a certificate.

Animal Onesie Day.

Today we had an animal onesie day because we are fundraising  for the year 1 and 2 zoo trip. Our group dressed up as humans. There are a lot of human animals found in Ohaeawai Primary School. Humans are vertebrate animals and they are mammals.
